Chloroplastic designed a gear system that pulled 22kg up a quarter elliptical ramp! Congratulations!
MADMEC is competition for student teams to design and build prototypes that provide a materials science based solution to energy challenges. Over the summer, the teams will participate in three Design Challenges during which they will learn more about using DMSE's fabrication equipment. The first Design Challenge was to design and then use the 3D Printer to build a gear system to move the most weight up a quarter elliptical ramp.
